Strategic Business Relationship: All Terrain Water Corporation

All Terrain Water Corporation (ATWC) is one of our most important strategic alliance partners in Ukiah, CA. ATWC is owned by Gregg Smith and provides emergency planning and support services for virtually any major emergency, including CA, SD & NV. Gregg is an retired Fire Chief, County Emergency Services Officer (OES) and a decorated USMC Veteran.

All major incident management teams at the federal and state levels use the ICS system for organizational structure, position descriptions qualifications and assignments. Even the Challenger disaster was managed using a modified ICS structure. ICS has become THE standard for response to disasters and is being privatized because it works. ICS programs are the basis of the contracts that Union Pacific Railroad and Chevron are creating in order to bring the ICS expertise into their incidents, thus keeping it in-house as much as possible.

Gregg has pledged his assistance to us by agreeing to using our MM on all incidents requiring the application of fire retardants such as Thermo-Gel and Thermo-Foam. The MM also controls contaminates that may be dumped from railcars. It is well suited for this job because there are many instances where railcars end up where water tankers can’t go because of the heat or contaminates involved. The MM would be able to maneuver over any landscape to reach the site.

Railways are also heavily utilized inside refineries and incidents within our core customer group of petro-chemical have as many as 3 derailments per MONTH at just one of the California facilities.
